Exhibitor Rules:
All Exhibitors must be registered and wear their badges.
Exhibitors cannot share or sublet booths without approval of the CECTI Board.
CECTI does not assume responsibility for the protection or safety of exhibitors or their exhibits.
Force Majeure
CECTI, through its officers and members, will make every attempt to hold the Annual Operator School on the dates and at the location as advertised on its official website. However, CECTI shall not be liable for any failure to hold said Annual Operator School due to a Force Majeure event and therefore is not required to refund all of (or a portion of) the registration payment made by a scheduled attendee. Force Majeure events shall include, but not be limited to, acts of God, fire, flood, war, acts of terrorism, riot, epidemics, floods, fires, unusually severe weather conditions, accidents, or other contingencies the non-occurrence of which was the basic assumption on which the school was scheduled.
In the event all or a portion of the school is cancelled due to Force Majeure, CECTI will attempt to reschedule the event, provide alternate learning opportunities (webinars, virtual training, etc…), or other similar trainings that can be reasonably accommodated to provide school attendees the chance to gain an equivalent knowledge base and/or receive training units necessary for water operator certifications. If cancelled under Force Majeure, CECTI is not responsible for attendees’ losses, both real and apparent, including hotel accommodations, travel arrangements, lost time from work, or per diems. Additionally, CECTI will not be responsible for losses attendees may incur by not receiving the necessary training units, due to the school’s cancellation, such as:
-
Loss of operator certification due to the attendee's failure to renew a certification without the necessary training units
-
Costs to reschedule certification testing in cases where the attendee was using the Annual Short School as a preparatory class for a scheduled certification test
-
Loss of employment or potential work promotions that were tied to obtaining necessary training units within a specific amount of time
-
Other similar losses outside the control of CECTI
This policy is designed to ensure the financial stability of CECTI while acknowledging the challenges posed by unforeseen circumstances.
Training Units:
Training Units are approved by the Colorado Certified Water Professional Program. The school is generally approved up to the 1.6 TUs in the primary area of approval.
